A pivotal moment and opportunity in the democratic process!

We at Policy Comms Co are thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Williamson County Democratic Party (WCDP) in a vital short-term project that is not just about making decisions; it's about shaping the future.

CONVENTION DATE: MARCH 16, 2024!

As the chair of the Selectors Convention, the mission is clear: to assemble a dedicated team from Williamson County, individuals who will carry our collective voice to the state convention. There, they will undertake the crucial task of choosing the delegates responsible for nominating the Democratic Presidential candidate.

This journey isn’t just for the politically seasoned. Whether you're a community leader, a local activist, or someone who believes in the power of democracy, there's a role and a need for your involvement. Your insights and energies are the driving force behind a fair and representative selection.

We understand that the delegate process may seem complex, but we're here to demystify it. Over the next few weeks (March 16th is less than 7 weeks away!), we'll be rolling out a series of updates, information sessions, and educational resources. Our goal is to make the process as transparent and accessible as possible.

This blog will serve as your hub for all things related to the convention—from the very basics of the delegate system to the nitty-gritty of the selection process. We promise to keep the jargon to a minimum and the relevance to a maximum, ensuring that every post is not only informative but also comfortable to digest and engaging.

So, keep this blog bookmarked, your mind open, and your passion for democracy ready. Together, we’ll embark on a journey through the democratic process, learning, engaging, and participating in a tradition that's as old as the nation itself.

Policy Comms Co is more than just a guiding hand; we're fellow travelers on this path to progress. Join us, and let's make every step count.

Remember, democracy thrives when its people are informed and engaged. So come back often, stay updated, and be a part of the conversation that moves us all forward.

Here’s to forging a future that we can all be proud of, together.
